If you know where Mary Barbara's daughter was born, then look in the 1900 census using the husband's name.That will at least give you her age and probably how long she was in the US.

Also, when Germany ruled the Czech Republic, the name was changed to Wrba.My g-grandfather, Alois Vrba/Verba/Wrba,
was listed as Wrba for immigration.He changed back to Vrba once in NYC.When his kids went to school, the name became Verba.They came over in 1885.Try both spellings.
