I believe I found your father and his family in the U.K. census.
I think his father, your grandfather, was a Boot and Shoe maker who married Annie May Pope in 1896.
He was born in Yorkshire.
His wife Annie born in Norwich, Norfolk, as were all the children.
Are you familiar with the name Pope in your family?
