Hello Beth!
I am excited you wrote!
I am the granddaughter of George W. Wager and Mary Frances Lane. Jeanne is my oldest aunt... and I think I remember your dad when I was little. lol My parents are Jerry David Wager and Barbara Lynn Prusa. I was born in 1971 in West Virginia.
Your gramma Jeanne, was very close to me when I was young. I spent a lot of time at her house in Granbury, TX. She lived on Saturn Lane, I believe. She taught me how to garden vegetables and how to 'can' them. She and my mom, Barbara, also taught me how to make jams and jelly. lol
When she would take me in the garden she used to drill me on the names of groups of animals. A covey of quail, a gaggle of geese, a pride of lion, a government of eagles, etc. lol
She sat on a snake once.lol She and my mom took pics of my baby brother in her kitchen sink with a huge wine bottle they had slipped a nipple on. I am the kid who prank called the fire department from her house. lol Man, did she get the switch after me for that one!!
I haven't seen her since Uncle Dean's funeral.
If you are on Facebook, look me up!
Please keep in touch!
