Waldrops - Spartanburg Co., SC

I am researching a G. Waldrop who is shown with wife, Ruda, and children on the 1850 US Census of Spartanburg District, South Carolina.Unfortunately the census only has his first name initial.He was born in about 1815 in SC and Ruda was born about 1818 in SC.I cannot find them after the 1850, but their daughters Mary and Elizabeth are still in Spartanburg Co., SC.Mary is married to Alberry Chapman and Elizabeth is living with them (single).

It is very possible that Ruda was Cherokee.If anybody has knowledge of these people, please contact me.Thanks.
