Warmath/Warmouth /Warmoth DNA project?
Hello,
Are you aware of any Warmouth/Warmoth/Warmath DNA project out there? My son-in-law is from a TN Warmath line. He tested with Genographic project; is now having additional testing done at Family Tree DNA. He has joined a "Womack" group, which has only one member.I don't believe this will do us any good; the markers are already 6 off on the first 12 markers. The other individual has tested only 12 so far.
His earliest known ancestor, William "Warmack," is shown as having been born abt 1810 in KY.Wife's name was Rachael. He appears to have migrated to TN around 1830.
The Warmath family was in Benton County in 1850-60; and in Weakley County 1870-80. Some of them later moved further into West TN - Crockett, Gibson and Madison Counties.
You may e-mail me privately, if you like.
