I think I wrote to you direct ages ago, and we decided that we were from different Wass families!
Looking at your details which you have posted, I think we may well connect through the Ralph Wass who married Rebecca Sims in Alfreton in 1741.He had a son Ralph born 1751 and this family seems to have settled in South Normanton I think. Is this what you have found?
Our connection is that Ralph and Rebecca had a daughter Hannah who married Samuel WASS (of South Wingfield) in 1779.We believe that they were first cousins, and both Grandchildren of Ralph and Ann Wass of North Wingfield.Unfortunately Hannah died young, probably in childbirth and Samuel went on to marry Elizabeth Ludlam 1785 in South Wingfield.Their eldest son John born 1786 is my ancester and they also had sons Samuel, Thomas and Ralph. They moved to Belper about 1788.
