WATERMAN
Does anyone have any information about Weston (Western) WATERMAN who was born CT in 1793. He enlisted in the War of 1812 in Cherry Valley, Otsego County, NY in 1812 and was in the Albany Volunteers. He came back to Cherry Valley and possibly had a son, Western. Western Sr. left NY and was married in 1825 in Bledsoe County, NY to Bethena KNIGHT. They had a large family. and moved to Laclede County, MO in bout 1857. The 3 Volume WATERMAN Family by Jacobus & WATERMAN supposes that his father was John WATERMAN. Does anyone have correct information for his wife & parents? Any help appreciated.

Rockingham, VT. According to the Vermont 1840 Census index he was a resident of Lyndon, Caledonia, VT. He and his wife lived with their son Edgar and his wife Alida Ann Albright on Sadam Street New Brunswick, NJ. He Died November 11, 1887. I think Buried in Trenton, NJ.

Pvt. William Edgar 7 HOUGHTON
(Continental Guard Louisiana 7th) He was a Confederate Civil War Veteran and did his basic training at Tangipahoa, LA before he was sent to the Shanendoia Valley in Virginia. He was capture atWaynesboro VA. And was sent to Pea Pod Island at the mouth of the Delaware River there he spent 2 weeks and took the oath of allegiants and was traded and returned to a city outside Richmond, Virginia called Point. He remained a solder until the end of the war and returned to New Brunswick, NJ. He worked as a machinist.
