Re: Waterman Family in Jackson Co. and Kanawha Co., West Virginia

I don't know if you have found anymore info on your Waterman family but I have found some info who I think are your relatives. I found Arvilla in 1900 living with her second husband of 2 yrs Joseph Dixon, in Jackson county, Rpley, WV. Children from her first marriage all born in Ohio.
Lafette age 25 b June 1874
George age 21 b May 1879
Teddie age 16 b May 1884
Bessie E age 6 b Dec 1893
1900
Arlo (Orlow) age 23 b Feb 1877 in Ohio is married to Bertha no children living in Jackson County

1910
Arlo (Orlow) age jumps to 31 still married to Bertha, they have 1 child, none living.

1920
Lafe (Lafette) age 47 married to Minnie two children Florence age 13 and Dixie 10 living Kanawha county Charleston, Sugar Creek
This where it gets alittle interesting. Also on 1920 census
Lafe age 54 married to Pruda? living Kanawha county Charleston, two daughters Florence age 14 and dixie age 10.
Next door lives
V.S. Waterman age 29 married to Rosa living Kanawha county Charleston, daughter Elizabeth born that year.
Harlow S. Waterman age 40 married to a different wife (cannot make her name out) living Kanawha county Vandalia, Danner, 3 daughters Louisa R age 9, cannot make out second daughters name age 7, Millie age 4.

Also have found Bessie and Vincent still living with mother on 1910 census. George Waterman age 29 is married and has 3 daughters and 1 son in 1910.
