James Waterman b:1817 NY

I'm looking for James Waterman listed on the Buffalo 9th ward, Erie Co. NY 1860 census with his wife Lorenzia or Lorency and son George L. Waterman 13 yrs old in 1860, they had a daughter Julia born around 1841.Julia is living next door to her parents with her husband Daniel Weaver.In 1870 James and his wife are living in 4th ward Buffalo, Erie, NY and on the 1880 census they are living in Hamburg, Erie, NY with their grandson William Weaver.James Waterman states he was born in NY and both parents born in Mass. does anyone know who his parents are??
