Also have the following information that may or may not apply to Martin Watkins. 2 Richard Watkins' were found in the 1830 Census index of Wilson County TN. I'm looking for anything on these Richards! One of these Richards could be Martin's ancestor. The 1820 Census of Wilson TN lists a Richard pg 386 and a Rice (probably Reece) pg 412. The two Richards are not listed in the 1840 Census. My guess is that Richard died in the early 1830's. Richard Watkins along with some Hopkins family left Wilson county around 1829 or 30 and moved to Illinois.
Any help or clues would be greatly appreciated.
