I think I have some information for you.My wife comes from a large family of Harvey's who lived and owned quite a bit of property in Bradley Co., Tennessee.
Adam Wattenbarger married Elizabeth Jane Harvey. The dates that you give in your posting should be close to what you are looking for based upon my information.Elizabeth Harvey was born on December 24, 1836.She was a daughter of Dudley and Hannah (Sutton) Harvey. She was born in around Cleveland Tennessee. She died on October 12, 1914 and is buried at Oak Grove Cemetary in Rockwood Tenn.
The information that we have on Adam Wattenbarger is that he was born on June 17, 1835 and died on June 9, 1906.He is buried at the same cemetary in Rockwood.
Here is a little bit more on Elizabeth's parents.Dudley Harvey was born on May 2, 1810 and died on November 20, 1884.He died in Cleveland, Tenn and is buried at Red Hill Cemetary near Cleveland.Everyone that I have communicated with is unable to trace farther back on Dudley.Several people think that Dudley came to Tennessee via North Carolina. But I haven't seen anything else on him over the years.
Hannah (Sutton) Harvey was born on August 31, 1814 and died on August 13, 1867.She is also buried at Red Hill Cemetary.
Elizabeth Harvey is one of 10 children of Dudley and Hannah Harvey.Less than one year ago, I was fortunate to get some very detailed information about my wife's family through the Genforum Web Page.I have given it to my mother-in-law for safekeeping. My recollection is that Adam Wattenbarger was very much loved by Dudley Harvey.I believe he was named executor of Dudley's estate upon his death.I will attempt to get the information back from my mother in law and email you with some additional stuff as soon as I can (I am a CPA and time is very valuable right now)
