The Montgomery County [TN] Archives is working with a local group to update cemetery records and the local cemetery map. In checking some information to answer a query directed to the Archives, I was reading the 1852 will of William Watwood of Montgomery County, Tennessee. He mentions, among other things, the family cemetery. ". . . the tract of land on which I now live, reserving one fourth of an acre for the family grave yard, for the family to bury their dead; . . .". I know that the family lived in the northeast part of the county near what is now Governor's Square Mall and I-24. Does anyone know specifically where this cemetery is located?
