Thats correct Ralph.
If you do a search for"The Little Brown Church" you will find their website online, also the Univ of Iowa has numerous pictures and handbills from the Redpath circuit online for viewing.
Kenneth Weatherwax of Florida did a book entitled "WEATHERWAX cousins"(out of print) which covered this branch of the family which descends from Petrus Weatherwax b:1752, a brother to my ancestor David Weatherwax b:1747. All Weatherwaxs descend from Johann Henrich Christophel Widerwachs a Palatine who arrived in NY colony 1710, with one son and one daughter surviving the sea voyage to America.
Henry Z. Jones book"The Palatine Families of New York 1710" gives a complete breakdown and history of the first 2/3 generations of this family in America.
In this case you descend from Johan Andreas Weatherwax 1700-1783 who married twice and produced 19 children of which my ancestor David and your ancester Petrus (Peter) were 2 of his nine sons.
Both by the way served in the Revolution in the 14th Albany Militia.More research into the family will reveal an Admiral
Hazelett Weatherwax in the U.S. Navy, prominent politicians in Michigan,Indiana, Industrialist, authors, and scientist.
US 1990 Census enumerated 11,765 Weatherwax's in the U.S.
you should alos be aware that there are at least four spelling variations in use today
WEATHERWAX, WETHERWAX,WITHERWAX,WEIDERWAX
and possibly WEATHERWALKS
