Both John and Jacob are descended from Jacob Weber formerly of Amity Township, Berks County arriving there in 1725 and prior to that a member of the Kocherthal Party where they arrived in Quassic Creek (now Newburgh, NY) in January of 1709. Jacob Weber was born in Dietrichingen, Germany (outside of Hornbach) in 1678 and married Anna Elizabethe Parmentier (born in Mannheim in 1683) of French Huguenot origin. They married in Dietrichingen in 1702. There were 13 children of this marriage; Eva Maria, Eva Elizabethe, Johann Hermanus, Johannes (John), Johanna, Peter, Anna Marie, Nicholas, Anna Catharina, Michael, Jacob and Maria Magdelena. Jacob and Anna Elisabethe are both buried in St. Gabriel's Church Cemetery formerly known as the Molatton Church (founded in 1719) near Amityville, Berks County. Jacob's Father was Hans Heinrich Johann Weber born 1639 in Dietrichingen and died there in 1686. His wife was Anna Margaretha born 1645 in Mauschbach (1km from Dietrichingen) married in Dietrichingen in 1661 and died in 1716 in Niederauerbach. Hans father Werner was born in Birkenfeld in 1586 and died in Mauschbach date unhnown. His wife Elizabethe Lang was born in Birkenfeld in 1595 and died in Mauschbach dated unknown.Werner's second wife was Johannet Fischer of Schorbach in Bitsch, Alsace. Werner had a brother Johannes born 1578 in Birkenfeld and died in 1634 in Buhlenberg (3 km from Birkenfeld), a brother Thomas born 1582 in Birkenfeld and married in 1606 Elizabethe Clausen born 1582 in Birkenfeld and a brother Michael born 1585 in Birkenfeld and resided in Hornbach in the mid 1600's. Werner's Father was Hans Weber born in Schoenbrunn, Wuerttemberg in 1544 and married in 1577 a Katharina Trein born 1555 in Buhlenberg.
Hans died in Birkenfeld in 1602. Hans Father Bartholomaeus was born in Schoenbrunn in 1520 and married in 1544 a Anna Ochs born 1529 in Murrhardt, Wuerttemberg. Both died in Buhlenberg dates unknown.
