Thanks so much for your reply. To get off the Wilburns for now.We are trying to actually prove the parentage of Isaac's wife, Elizabeth. There are Branch books out there which give us the data, but no actual proof; such as birth record or her being mentioned in the Will of her father or a relative.Would you please provide me with what you have?Another cousin and I have researched this extensively and we have our thoughts and many documents; but no real proof of parentage at this point.Mary "Molly" was the daughter of Isaac and Elizabeth.I descend through son John who settled and died in Robeson Co., NC.
The main point of my research is to find the siblings and parents of Isaac's parents, Francis and Grace Unknown and go backward. It is thought that Francis migrated along with the Wilborn family.I've been told that William Wilbourn and Mary's children moved to Bedford Co., VA and back to Orange, NC:It could be that William was the son of Edward, and that the first child born to them was named Edward, I don't know.I also have no proof of these children; the data has been shared by other Wilbourn family members who are direct descendants of William and they know where Mary was buried.Which was along with Deadmonds and Millirons so it seems that the children should be listed correctly.
