I never realized how common the Wendell name is in P.A. I live in Ohio and there are not many around here. Do you know any of your ancestors names? My Great Grandparents were Stephen and Philomena ( Sontag) Wendell. My Grandparents were Stephen and Hilda ( O'Neill) Wendell and my Parents William and Rosemary Wendell. Most of my family was from Pittsburgh. Do any of these names sound familiar?

You may have a connection with Julie Smith who also has Wendells posted. I have not yet determined if her and I have a connection.
