Wenger Brothers to PA
Three brothers sailed for PA, one died at sea, one Henry settled near Pottsville, PA and Christian settled in Lancaster, PA, he bought 289 acres from Wm. Penn.
Christian Wenger and his wife Eva had children; Michael, John and Henry.

IVMichael, had six sons and 4 daughters, Marks, Fannie, Michael, Joel, who married "Fannie Swarr in 1848, she died in 1872, and had children (Clayton S., Lizzie, born 1853 married Amos P. Shaffer of Lampeter township, Susan married Clarence Lichty of Lancaster, and A. Lincoln born 1864 died 1890. Joel Wenger married 2nd on Jan. 11, 1882 to Sallie Caproth of West Earl township.

VI Clayton S. born Aug. 14, 1850 son of Joel and Fannie (Swarr) Wenger, married on Dec. 5, 1876 to May Landis of Manor township, d/o Jacob and Ann (Herr) Landis. They had 3 sons, Clarence L., born June 30, 1877, Vincent Eugene born April 27, 1880, and Jacob Joel, born Jan. 5. 1884.Member of the Reformed Church.
