James B. & John WESTWICK; Yorkshire to Galena, IL
Seeking to compare information with descendants of brothers James Balance Westwick (b. 1815, m. Eliza Atwell) or John Westwick (b. 1822, m. Mary Emmerson).The brothers migrated from Yorkshire, England -- James in 1850; John & his wife Mary in 1852.They settled in Galena, IL and operated a foundry there.They were the sons of James Westwick and Ann (a/k/a Nancy) B. Sweeting.
James' children were:

In 1884 James and his family moved to Wyoming and took homesteads, while John and his family remained in Illinois.
