Nancy WILSON and Nicholas WHISENAND were married in Monroe Co. IN on 19 Mar 1824.It appears that she died sometime after the birth of Jeptha (b. ca 1848) and before Nicholas was remarried to Jane Eliza MITCHELL Nichols on 8 Aug 1850.Nicholas was b. 27 Oct 1800 in Washington Co. VA and died 5 Oct 1886 in Cass Co. IA.John was mentioned in the 'Statement of Heirs' in Nicholas' will.At that time it was noted that John was living in Eustace, Sherman Co. KS. and that he was 54 years old.Nicholas is buried in the Lowman Cemetery in Griswold, Cass Co. IA.His inscription reads "Thou shall come to thy grave in a full age like as a shock of corn cometh in his season." (85y 10m 14d)
