Whisenant & Pence?????

I need to know if Mary Whisenant of N.C. married Marion Pence b.1841 in Gilmar co., Ga. They married early 1860's. Some people say her last name was Whisenant but will not answer a question. Others say she was a Taylor, but they won't answer either. So someone put me out of my misery. Thank You Bill Cantrell
