Whisenhunt Y-DNA Project

By Mary Becker February 12, 2008 at 02:03:22

Hi Cousins,
We now have the website up for our new, grassroots, Whisenhunt Y-DNA Project:
http://www.worldfamilies.net/surnames/w/whisenhunt/http://www.worldfamilies.net/surnames/w/whisenhunt/
Now, all we need are some male line Whisenhunt descendants who want to participate.
This project is open to all spelling variations of Whisenhunt, Whisnant, Whisenant, Whisonant, Whisenhant, Whisanant, Whisant, Visinand, Visinant, plus any others that you might want to send to me.
We use Family Tree DNA for our testing company, as they have the most enormous database of DNA test results to which we can match our results.
But our Whisenhunt Y-DNA Project was started by me, Mary Lee (McClendon) Becker, and it belongs to us, all of the Whisenhunt descendants. I am a volunteer, and my role, as the Group Administrator, is to assist you all in your Whisenhunt family research. I do not receive money, nor do I sell test kits. I am not employed by any company.
So come on, and lets get our Whisenhunt Y-DNA project off to a good start. We can do it!
Best regards,
Mary Lee
