Seeking Whisenhunt's In Alabama Ransom Whisehunt 1930

Hi my name is carlos 29yrs old. My dad name is Charlie Whisehunt Jr, Mcintosh, AL. His dad name was Charlie Whisehunt Sr., Charlie Sr dad name was Ransom Whisenhunt. Back in the late 1930's Ransom brought Charlie Sr home and said he was on the run and the family never heard from him again.We think he was killed with all the racial tension going on back then. We do know he was a slave but we are trying to see where the name came from. was it the slave famil name who he worked for. Some say its German and we are linked to that but we dont know.
