Carlos, I will have to go back to some old notes, but wanted to at least give you a possible lead.Ransom was a first name used in the Lail family, 1800's Burke and Catawba Co, NC.There were numerous marriage connections between the Lail, Miller, and Whisenhunt families.After the Civil War many family members left NC.
