Yes you have my line correctly annotated. And thank you Kathy for responding. Also Pleas Adam Whisenhunt (Sr) b. 1769 was married to Barbara (Barbry) B. who might have been Cherokee also.

Yes I am begining to see that people tend to get confused between generations of relatives that have the same name. Here is an example. There is a Benjamin M. Whisenhunt that has a Cherokee roll number 1088.A lot of research speculated that this was the father of John M. Whisenhunt. After looking carefully at the Dawes packet information, and checking on Raymond Whisenant's website to see the offspring of John M. Whisenhunt, I could clearly see that this Benjamin M. Whisenhunt was the son of John M. Whisenhunt and Brunett Weaver.John M. listed as IW (intermarried white).Brunett (Weaver) Whisenhunt listed as 1/2 Cherokee.Benjamin M. listed as 1/4 Cherokee. This information comes from the Dawes Roll, Cherokee Census Card 350, Cherokee Roll Number 1088.

I like details and logic I can follow. My resources are limited so I have not paid for any information on sites that require you to pay.

So, if you have access to any research or have already done research it would be awesome if you could share that.

I am new at this, so I don't know what all resouces I can access online, but I appreciate any guidance you can give me.

It was great of you to reply and much appreciated.

Sincerely,

Kristina
