My Luke White was born in Sampson Co. NC abt 1787. He married Nancy Bland abt 1813 in Chatham NC. He died abt 1866 in Wayne Co MO. I don't know if he ever resided in GA. According to Luke's grandson, Wm Pinkney White, Joshua white (Luke's dad) immigrated from Ireland. I have not been able to find any record of his birth or marriage to Luke's mother. I also don't know what Luke's mother's name was! If you have any info I will be eternally grateful!
