Re: Whiteley families in VA 1700 - !800

My Whiteleys are from present-day Russell County VA. I think there were a couple of lines, I don't know if or how they were connected. Mine descend from Robert and Catherine Whiteley around 1800, who had six or nine children. Is that your line, Ken? One of my mother's cousins, now 72, is a direct paternal descendant (surname is Whiteley) and he might be willing to participate in the DNA study.
