Roselyn:It's been many years since we corresponded.I have learned that Samuel Whitmore (husband of Susanna Overcash) claimed two different birthplaces.In the Guilford Township, Franklin County, PA census of 1850 he claimed Virgina as his birthplace.Yet, after moving to Ohio, he claimed in Canaan Township, Wayne County, OH census of 1860 that he was born in Pennsylvania.I have no idea which is correct.Do you?
