Re: Looking for Wiesehans
Hello, I also have a copy of that 4 page family reunion article that states it was published in the Lawrenceburg Press of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, on July 12, 1928. My copy has a few differences:
Child 1 is listed as Friedrich, without the Johann or the last name.
Child 2 is listed as Mary Henrietta Kuhfers.
Child 4 is listed as Margaret Kipp.
Child 6 is listed as Kathrina Kretzmeier.
Child 7 is listed as Elizabeth Chairsell. Last L added by hand.
Child 14 is listed as Sarah Margaret Franke.
Later in the document Mrs Franke is listed as the last survivor of the 15 children of this generation. The next years reunion was to have been held on the third Sunday in August of 1929 at Sarah Franke's house but her death is listed as 26 July 1929 so the meeting may have been cancelled.
The relatives and friends at this second annual reunion included Mrs. S. C. Harrington (Clara Wiesehan married Sam Harrington) and son Clifford (my grandfather, b. 17 Dec 1914) and daughters Mabel and Ruth.
You seem to have access to further research regarding the Gerhard Wilmer Wiesehahn in Belm, Germany. I have always been told that it was Belm, Hannover, Germany so there may be more than one Belm in Germany.
