Re: Wilds from South Carolina
Some of the Wilds lived in Kenwood/Germantown and some lived in Morrilton. Dora Brockington Wilds was my next door neighbor in Morrilton.I was trying to find out how my Great-grandfather's sister, Julia Thornton, met James Wilds. She was from Hollow Creek Township in Lexington County and the Wilds were from Darlington County.
I also don't know where her descendants landed. They lived in Morrilton, Arkansasbefore I was born and according to records moved to Pulaski County. We never knew who Great-grandpa Frank Thornton's sisters married until later. Julia's sister Ella married Scott Davis and they lived in Morrilton. His family was also from Lexington County.
I can't find death records for Julia Wilds.
My grandmother was friends with a Rev. Wilds and I remember visiting them when I was little. I remember an Agnes and a man named Eli Wilds and Elliott Wilds. Julia's children were Darcus, Rebecca, Elnore, William, and Samuel. I am sure they must have children and grandchldren in Arkansas some place. The Wilds in Conway County, Arkansas.were all from Darlington County.
