William, do you have any Allens in your background as I have a Cynthia Allen who married an unknown Wilemon/Wileman before 1892.Her father was Columbus "Lum" H. Allen who lived in for a while and died in Calhoun Co. Alabama.Don't know who her mother was.She also had a sister named Mary A. Allen, and two half-sisters below.
Columbus "Lum" married Rachel Evelyn Lloyd. Lum and Rachel had two daughters, Lula Ellen "Lou" Allen who married Caleb Milton Ford, and Nancy Elizabeth Columbus "Lummie Allen who married Rev. Rufen H. Martin. All of these are buried at Eulaton Methodist Church Cemetery, Eulaton, Calhoun Co., Alabama.
I'm also related to the Bynums and Murphrees of the area. You can't swing a stick up there without hitting one of my kin folks.I went to school at the army depot barracks in the early 50's when our elem. school at Eulaton burned.
Just about all my relatives on my dad's side worked at the depot for years. The family always called the depot "Bynum".I'm having to teach myself to call it the Anniston Army Depot or whatever it's name is now.How is the incinerator coming along??No funny colored clouds floating around yet? :-)
