It does not ring a bell at this moment but let's keep talking.I am currently in transition from a Mac to a PC.All my research is on disc and I did not convert it to gedcom files prior to my computer crashing on Sat.Here's what I can recall by memory of my first Wiley to come to Canada:
Dr. Robert Wiley came to Nova Scotia about 1840 from Ireland. He practiced medicine with a paternal uncle. He then moved to Florenceville, New Brunswick where he married Clarissa Dibble. They had six children, three boys and three girls.I only have the boys names (which I can't recall at this moment). However, all were doctors and remained in the area.
I also had a search done of all NB papers for the Wiley surname from about 1840 to early 1900's.I will share this if you are interested.
My hard copies of my research are in boxes, I just moved so sorry for the lack of dates above.
Any of my stuff ring a bell for you? Also, have you done any homework from the Ireland side?I am really just beginning - I've only been at this a year. Please feel free to contact me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
