The people in question are my Paternal Great-grandfather, their children, and relatives. I am listing all that I have on them right now in the hopes that someone can help me progress in that part of my family tree. My Great Grandfather: Nicholas John Wilhelm Sr. Born September 15, 1894 in Toledo, Ohio, Lucas County He enlisted in the army on August 6, 1918. He was a member of Co E 68 Infantry and granted a Private Honorable discharge 11 Feb 1919. He married Thelma Rose Seirescinska on June 1, 1920. They lived in Toledo Ohio in a duplex on Elm Street. He died on January 23, 1983 He is buried at Carvery Cemetery in Toledo Ohio
Great Grandmother: Thelma Rose Seirescinska Born January 9, 1900 in Pennsylvania to Catherine Seirescinska and an unknown father. Died June 30, 1990 in Sylvania Ohio, Lucas County. If I remember right she was at Lake Park on the grounds of Flower Hospital. She had three boys, Daniel A. Wilhelm, Nicholas J. Wilhelm Jr., Melvin F. Wilhelm, and Theodore Wilhelm and a daughter, Marge A. Day nee Wilhelm.
Great Uncle Daniel A Wilhelm: Born March 24, 1921 in Toledo, Ohio, Lucas County He enlisted December 1, 1942 and served as a Warrent officer. Records list him as married, but I have no information on his wife or the date of marriage. He died on August 31, 1993 Location at the time of death: Los Angeles California He is buried in Riverside National Cememtary in Riverside, California. His middle name is Anthony.
Great Uncle Theodore Wilhelm: Born about 1921 in Toledo Ohio Lucas County Last known residence has him living with his parents at age 9.
Great Uncle Melvin F. Wilhelm Born in 1924 or 1925 in Toledo Ohio Lucas County He enlisted in the Air Force July 24, 1943 His last known rank is Staff Sergant. He died on August 25, 1944 when his B-17 was shot out of the sky. He is still listed as MIA with FoD. People are working to recover his body as well has his two crew-mates that met his fate. His wife's name is listed as Mary L. Wilhelm, though most records I have list him as being single.
Great Uncle: Nicholas John Wilhelm Jr. Born November 23, 1921 in Toledo Ohio, Lucas County He enlisted in the Us Marine Corps in September 16, 1940 He served throughout the war. He died December 23, 1983. He was going to visit family in Salt Lake City, Utah. I was the one that took the call from the police there notifying us of his death because I was the one that answered the phone. He is buried in Ottawa Hills Cemetery in Toledo Ohio He had a wife and children, but I have not seen either since I was like 8-15 years old, so I have nearly no memory of them.
My Grand Mother: Margret A. Day nee Wilhelm Born April 11, 1928 in Toledo Ohio, Lucas County She married Richard J (Bud) Day but I have no dates She was still alive in living in the Toledo/Sylvania Ohio area in 1983. Bud is the founder of Day & Sons I knew her as Grandma Marge, though records list her given name as Marjorie and Margret She and Bud had the following childern
Richard Melvin Day (My dad) Kenneth J, Day (My Uncle) James B. Day (My Uncle) Lori Day (My Aunt)
