James E. Wilhoite died in Jefferson County on 22 Apr 1918, if I have the right one.
Elbert G. Wilhoite died in Jefferson County on 7 Oct 1921, age 26.
James' wife seems to go by a variety of given names.
Oldham County KY marriage records show that James Edward Wilhite married Julie M. Cowherd on 20 Sep 1892. Since the 1910 census above shows that Russell Cowherd was James' brother-in-law, it seems very likely that this is the correct marriage record.
It appears that James Edward Wilhoite is descended from Johann Michael Wilheit through his son Tobias and then William to Zachariah Shirley Wilhoite, next to James W. Wilhoite who married Alice Pruett. James Edward Wilhoite is a son of James W. and Alice.
James Edward was born 7 Sep 1869 and died 22 Apr 1918 when his chest was crushed in a railroad accident. This is from his death certificate.
His son, Elbert Guthrie Wilhoite was born on 7 Nov 1895 according to his death certificate. However the death certificate also indicates that he was 26 years, 11 months old when he died on 7 Oct 1921. Either he was born in 1894, or he was 25, not 26 when he died. He died of septic endocarditis. His death certificate was signed by Nellie Wilhoite, and it indicated that he was married, so I am assuming Nellie was his wife. In the 1920 census, he is single, so they hadn't been married long.
James Edward Wilhoite married Lulu M. Cowherd. She appears to be a daughter of John E. Cowherd and his wife, Alice Head (according to what I think is her brother's death certificate).
