RE: JANE WILKENSON; EDWARD DICKS / DICKES / DIX
Fellow passengers on the Thomas & John, 1635, from Gravesend, England to VIRGINIA, but apparently not traveling together, as their names appear in seperated places in the passenger list.
Edward Dix, age 19;Jane Wilkenson, age 20.
CAN ANYONE DOCUMENT THEIR ARRIVAL IN VIRGINA AND LIVES AFTERWARDS?(MARRIAGES, CHILDREN'S BIRTHS, DEATHS, ETC.)
Edward Dix and Jane Wilkenson MAY NOT have married each other.WHAT EVIDENCE EXISTS IN VIRGINIA?
THEY ARE NOT the same persons as Edward Deekes / Dix and wife Jane who went to New England with the Winthrop Fleet in 1630.They were married in England.Jane's name [no surname] appears on the birth records as the mother of Edward's children, in Watertown, MA.After Jane died following the birth of daughter Rebecca, Edward remarried to Susanna, who out lived him.
VIRGINIA LOOK-UPS OF VITAL RECORDS 1635 - 1700 PLEASE.
