Was there a town of Willig near Bremen, Germany?

Hello. My ancestor, Joachim Opdenweyer, listed Willig as his residence (origin) when he boarded the ship Mathilde in July 1838 bound for Baltimore, Md. He was the only man on the ship from this place. I cannot find it on German maps. Can anyone on this list tell me if it did exist?
