Ref # 618and 619My WILT pedigree is: Willie (Wm) Mason, John Franklin, James William, Mary Magdalene, and Henry
Wilt Sr. born abt 1764 in Germany and died 10 Oct. 1939 in Huntington Township, Ross County, Ohio, USA.
A son Henry Wilt Jr. was born about 29 May 1798 aboard a shipin the Atlantic Ocean.
We believe these Wilt's came from the Baden Baden, Germany area--no proof.
I have one Stanley, one Hugh, 22 Charles and no Barnent (sp? Wilt surnames in my data bank. The oldest "Charles" I have was Charles Washington Wilt b. 29 Nov 1851 in Knox Co., Illinois, USA. The "Stanley" Wilt was an infant in death between 1919-1920
The time frame of 1750 and 1764 of your and my ancestors coming from Germany makes me to think that they were close relatives---perhaps even brothers!!
Do you connect with any of the above?
Cheryl the spellings of Whilt/Wild/Wildt intrique me! Did you change your spelling or what?
Thanks for your continuing interest in "diggin" out the Wilt family.
