Wimberley Obituary - Jackson Tennessee

Funeral services for David Michael Wimberley, 24, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 3, 2005 at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons with Bro. Travis Ballinger officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens with military rites.
Mr. Wimberley died Saturday, October 1, 2005 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Mr. Wimberley was born on December 29, 1980 in Jackson, TN the son of Danny David and Deborah Ann Sellers Wimberley. He was a graduate of North Side High School in 2000. He was a member of the TN Army National Guard of six and a half years, Troop D 278. He had been a Jackson Police Officer since 2004, a career he loved. David loved life and lived it to the fullest. He was the kindest, most loving man. He will forever be loved and missed by all who knew him. David was very active with Boy Scouts, Eagle Scouts ROTC CAD Lt. Col Batallion Commander.
He is survived by his mother Deborah Sellers Wimberley and father Danny David Wimberley of Jackson, TN; a sister Kimberley Smith and husband Brandon; three nieces Taylor, Bridgett, Loren Smith; one nephew, Tyler Smith; a loving fiancee Summer Born and Summer's son Blake Moore with love "Forever Yours". He was loved by five of the best friends anyone could ever have, Jason, Justin, Will, Terry and Richard. Grandparents Everett and Nadine Sellers of Spring Creek, TN.
Mr. Wimberley was preceded in death by his grandparents Milburn and Ruth Wimberley.
Pallbearers to serve will be Jackson Police Department Honor Guard. Honorary pallbearers to serve are Jason Eddie, Justin Crocker, Richard Watson, William Butler and Terry Freshour.
The family will receive friends today from 11:00 until time of service at the funeral home.
