According to the family Bible, John Dike Howard's father was also John Dike Howard, born Dover,NH died in WI.Mar.6,1862 is buried in Burnett Corners Cemetery with wife Polly Goodell who died Feb. 3, 1853 at age 53yrs. and daughter Laura Howard who died Feb. 21, 1854 at age 19 yrs.I have been to that cemetery but have no further info on either family.How is your friend related?I do have lots of desc.info.
