Re: Etta Mae Winchell, Olive, Ulster County,NY
Sorry it took so long to get back to you .
I don,t have a lot of info on my Winchell line other than Census records .
First in the 1850 Kingston Census shows Barbara Winchell and James Winchell living with I believe Barbaras' daughter Mary E. and family;
William 30 mason
James 20 carpenter
In 1860 Marbletown Census James Winchell is now married to Sarah Louisa Ennist;
James 30 carpenter
Mary E. 3
In 1860 Kingston Census Barbara Winchell 58 is still living with William and Mary E. Darling and children .
The 1860 , 70 , and 80 Marbletown Censuses show James and Sarah Louisa Winchell having these children ;
Sarah Agnes ( my gr-grandmother)
James and Sarah Louisa Winchell had another daughter Louisa 6/7/1882 - 6/1/1883 , buried Ennist Ground . I'm sure you know that James and Sarah L. Winchell are also buried at Ennist Ground , it looks like some of thier other children are also buried there .
Have you visited this cemetery ? I understand you have to have permission from ownwer of property .
Sarah Agnes Winchell married Christopher S. Robinson 6/20/1896 in Stoneridge . I will e mail you a copy of thier Marriage Certificate , also will send Death Transcript I received from Marbletown for a John A Winchell that I thought might have been brother to James 3rd. , but isn't .
