Sylvia:
Here is what I have on Missouri Ann Eoff:
From the Bible of Charles Edward Eoff (her nephew)she was
born 22 May 1848 St. Louis Co Missouri. The Bible did not
have her death date. She was one of 7 children born to
John Eoff and Susan Ann Neely. Five of the children lived
to adulthood. Her brother, Alexander, was my husband's
great, great, grandfather and Charles Edward Eoff was the
son of Alexander.Susan Ann Neely died in 1855 and the
children were farmed out to various relatives in St Louis
County. I do not know what John Eoff did for a living but
his death date from the Bible was 1887.The family lived
in the vicinity of Manchester and Ballwin, Missouri.
I have a copy of a pamphlet printed about 1902 which
follows the various Eoff families. It named the parents
and children, and places, but had no dates, and usually no
maiden names. This is where I found the name of Thomas
Windley and that there was a son, George Windley.I did find
the marriage record for Thomas Windley and Missouri Ann Eoff
in St. Louis records. They were married September 19, 1887
in St. Louis (city).
Thanks so much for all your information.
Shirley M. Eoff
