Thank you!I just got back from Wexford, Ireland, and saw the graves of George and Frances Windross and the house they lived in.No one in town that I talked to (except the owners of the house) had heard of any Windross's.They directed me to another cemetery where 4 Windross sisters were buried. So, it looks like the old-maid aunts stayed, and the boys all emigrated to other places. The people who owned the house said a Lance Windross from Australia, had visited them about 20 years ago.

My great-grandmother, Elizabeth Harriet Windross, had gone to Canada to visit her nephews (maybe your great-grandfather?) and became ill while she was there. The dr. recommend California to her for the climate, and that's how she ended up here!
