Joshua 1, Samuel 2, Samuel 3,Joseph 4,Lillis 5 Winsor. Lillis md. Nathan Paine. This line is published, up to sixth generation of descendants, in DESCENDANTS OF ROGER WILLIAMS, Book 1, Waterman & Winsor line, by Roger Williams Family Association. The Winsor section was done by Mr. Kay K. Moore. His wife was the Winsor descendant. Mr. Moore had submitted Book 2 which would continue the Winsor descendants from 1800 t0 1900. He told me it is up to the Roger Wms. Fam. ASSoc. to publish it, but he did know when. I think Mr. Moore died about two years ago, as no answer to my letters & his telephone disconnected. But I don't really know. He would be the person to contact about Joshua Winsor & descendants. He knew more than anyone about the line. Also there is Olney Winsor's book which gives english ancestors of this line. And then there is THE PARSHALL PEDIGREE which also gives english ancestors of this line, but with a few differences. Supposedly the line goes back to 900 AD into Norway. I heard that a professional researcher had been hired by the Parshall people, who were supposedly very wealthy -- THE PARSHALL PEDIGREE is a very expensively done genealogy book, with tooled leather binding and 14x17 inches and gold lettering on the cover. Someone should re-research the Joshua Winsor line, without necessarily using Olney Winsor and Parshall as the authorities. Records are probably more available now than when the older genealogies were published & some interesting things might turn up. We have here in San Francisco7 listings for Winsor in the telephone book. Jim Windsor (James, William, Victor, William, Jeremiah, Thomas, Joseph, Joseph, Jarvis).
