Daniel Wingerter, son of Theodore and Eva Wingerter, was born in Alpha, Green county, Ohio, January 20, 1866, died April 16, 1913, aged 47 years; 2 months, 24 days.
On September 6, 1888, he was married to Artha Lulu Coffield.To them were born nine children.
He leaves to mourn his death , a wife, five children, two brothers and three sisters.
He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.
He was received into the methodist church in Bradford, Ohio, July 28, 1912; since which time he has been an earnest member.

Mrs. Eva Boggs, Widow of Harry, Dies
Mrs. Eva M. Boggs, 81, of 650 N. Main, died at 7:30 P.M. Wednesday in Piqua Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient three days.She had been in failing health several years.
Mrs. Boggs was born Sept. 2, 1890 in Dayton, a daughter of Daniel R. and Artha Lula Coffield Wingerter.Her husband, Harry L. Boggs, died April of 1963.
She was a member of the church of the Brethren.
She lived with a daughter, Mrs. James Estes (Helen) of Piqua.Other survivors include tow sons, Daniel and Kenneth, both of Piqua; two daughters, Mrs. Francis (Louise) Martin and Mrs. Linden (Juanita) Brubaker, all of Piqua; 11 grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Kittle, Celina, and Mrs. Melvin (Grace) Via of Bradford.One son , one sister and one brother are deceased.
services will be conducted at 1 P.M. Saturday in the Jamieson Funeral Home by the Rev. Richard Cottrell.Burial will be in highland cemetery in Covington.

Hary Lee Boggs, 71, of 650 N. Main, died at 11:40 P.M., Friday at Piqua Memorial Hospital where he was admitted at 4 P.M. Thursday.
Born in Covington, Sept 13, 1891. he was the son of Rolland and Ida Frey Boggs.He attended Covington schools and was married at Covington, May 18, 1912, to Eva Ann Wingerter.He had lived in Piqua 23 years and had been employed at the French Oil Co. 23 years.He was a member of the Piqua Church of the Brethren.
He is survived by his wife, Eva; five children, Daniel Boggs, Mrs. Francis Martin (Louise), Mrs James Estes (Helen), Kenneth Boggs and Mrs. Juanita Brubaker, all of Piqua; 2 sisters, Mrs. Furnace Jay (Margaret) of Pleasant Hilland Mrs. Pearl Inman of Piqua,; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.A son died in in fancy and a brother, Charles, also is deceased.
The Rev. Vernon Powell will conduct services at 1:30 P.M. Tuesday at the Jamieson Funeral Home.Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Covington.

Survivors include her husband, Samuel M.; one daughter, Mrs. Jeanette Thompson of Dayton; two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Frank Kittle (Florence) of Celina.One brother and two sisters preceded her in death.
Services will be held at 2 P.M. at the Stock Funeral Home, 131 W. Oakwood St., Bradford, with the Rev. Sandford Christophel officiating.Burial will be in the Miami Memorial Park in Covington.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.

Bradford - Samuel Melvin Via, 93, of 248 N. High St.., died Saturday , Aug. 1, 1987, in Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton.
He was born April 4, 1894 in Floyd County, Va., to the late Edward and Prudence Smith Via.
Mr. Via was a molder at Hobart Foundry, Troy, retiring in 1964 after 37 years employment.
He was a member of the Bradford Church of the Brethren, Hobart Quarter Century Club, Bradford Masonic Lodge 593,past master of the lodge and a 32nd degree Mason.
His wife, Grace, Died in 1978.Also deceased are a daughter, Mrs. Jeanette Thompson, who died in 1980; five brothers and a sister.
Mr. Via is survived by a grand-daughter, Mrs. Carol Mccullum and a Grandson, Lester Thompson, both of Vandalia, and four Great-grandchildren.
He leaves three brothers; Dewey Via, Carl Via, both of Covington; Otis Via, of Greenville; three sisters; Mrs. Thelma Wise, Covington; Mrs. Russel Hoblit (Lala) of Pleasant Hill, and Mrs. Clara Conning, of Eldorado.
The Rev. Stanford Christophel will conduct the service at 11 A.M., Wednesday in the Bradford Church of the Brethren, with burial to follow.
Calling hours at the Stocker Funeral Home, 131 W. Oakwood St., Bradford, are 7 to 9 P.M. Tuesday and one hour before the service at the church on Wednesday.A Masonic service begins at 8:30 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
