Martha Winston who was the widow of George Huddleston was not married to a William Brooks. Her daughter Louisiana was married to William W.Brooks. If she married again her name would have been Martha Huddleston, not Winston. Martha Winston was my gggg-grandmother. I seems I have run across another William Brooks in the family but I can't find it as of now.
