m 1. Sarah Dabney d/o Cornelius Dabney and his 1st wife Edith.Sarah (Dabney) Winston was born after 1678 & died before 1714.

m 2. Mrs. Martha (Tomlin) Gouldman widow of Edmund Gouldman. The Warings were part of the Gouldman family.

*Martha's father was Robert Tomlin & her mother Rebecca

Will of Edmund Gouldman proved in Essex Co., Ct Jan 10, 1709/10

Will of Rebecca Tomlin of St. Anne's Parish, Essex (long will with many mentions of her Gouldman grandchildren & other children & their children)..dated 25 Nov 1709 & probated 10 Jun 1714."my daughter Martha Gouldman & she to be extrix" - 10 Jan 1714..William Winston & Martha his wife, late Martha Gouldman qualify as exors.

[NOTE - thus William Winston m Martha sometime after Nov 1709 & before Jun 1714]- William & Martha Winston presented the app. of the estate of Rebecca Tomlin.

William Winston and Martha, his wife, formerly Martha Gouldman, executrix with others of the estate of Edward Gouldman, decd. Pltfs. vs Mary Gouldman and Thomas Waring Executors of Francis Gouldman, decd. continued. Essex Co OB 1716-23, p-18.

The last will and testament of Martha Winston, decd. being lodged by William Winston, It is ordered that Francis Gouldman, heir at law be summoned to the next Court. Essex Co OB 1716-23

19 May 1725Francis Gouldman of St. Ann's Parish of Essex Co conveyed to William Winston of St. Paul's Parish, "Hanover Co" for L12, 300 a in Essex Co known as Mehockney, which is in the peaceful possession of sd William Winston by his intermarrying with Martha Gouldman, mother of sd Francis Gouldman who in her lifetime was possessed of the said land.

30 years later 20 May 1751 - this time William "Essex" Winston of Hanover (son & heir of William Winston)sells to Thos. Waring, Jr land on Gibson's Creek in Essex Co - his father, William Winston, had purchased the land on February 19 1721/2.

William Winston II - m 3rd Barbara Overton about 1723 & he was dead by Jan 1726/27.
