The two letters I have from Mel Wolter to my grandmother, Edna Nicoll, were written in April and October 1981. In one he was sharing some photos he had found of Edna's parents, and a group picture of Martin relatives and Alton. He wrote about the trip with you to Massachusetts in September 1981.He wrote that he missed Bernice very much. Edna was younger than her siblings, and wasn't close to them.She seemed closer to her younger cousins that were close to her age, particularly her sister's son Alton.Alton corresponded with her all her life, his letters seemed to stop just before she passed January 1, [email protected]
