I'm not sure if we have a connection or not but my Wolter relatives are from Milwaukee, WI.My Great Great Grandpa was Heinrich Ernst Wilhelm Wolter.I just found his marriage record from the church, and they have a Martha Wolter listed as a witness.She is also the godmother to two of his son's.I'm not sure where he was born, but things are pointing toward Prussia.I have his parents listed as William Wolter and Marie (NEE: Schubring) Wolter.So let me know what you think.
