Dear Tina, My great grandfather was Albert Edward Wolter who married a Jessie Smith. They had five daughters, Maude who married Bert Reid, Jessie Lillian who married James Thomas Leavey (my grandfather), Gladys who married Sid Murphy, May married Steve Green and Alice who married Charles Turner. I do not know where Albert and Jessie married but Jessie and James Thomas Leavey married in St Johns church Walthamstow in Essex in 1919.Jessie Lillian was born in August 1894. James (an Australian) and Jessie came to Queensland in 1919 after WW1.The family migrated soon afterwards. There is a family story that Albert Edward Wolter's mother was from Hamburg, Germany.I have not done very much research into this family but am willing to share any information with you.
