William Woodard was indeed the son of Winnefred Broughton Woodard and her first husband.Believed to be John Woodard son of Peter Woodard from Brunswick Co. Va.John died, probably in NC.Winnefred's father Willoby Broughton moved to SC.He remarried a Joannah Johnson.Winnefred Broughton Woodard married Isham Davis.They raised William Woodard.That is where your Isham Davis Woodard got his name.He was named after Willam' stepfather Isham.I descend from William's half sister Amy DAVIS FRANKS.Teresa in B'ham
