Hi Gail,
I've been doing a little research on the Ogden line and offer the following comments:
I didn't find the name Ogden on the Mayflower passenger list, and the following information from the family forum indicates that John's children were born in England up to about 1642, around the same time John Woodruff (The Immigrant) came to America. This precludes this John Ogden from being one of the original Pilgrims who landed in 1620. Considering the fate of the Plymouth Rock Pilgrims, I believe our Woodruffs were very wise to wait a couple of decades before making the trip:
